Prerequisites:
- Must be at least 17 years old by the time of check ride
- Must have the ability to obtain a 3rd Class FAA Medical
- Must be US Citizen or obtain TSA approval if a non-citizen
- Private Pilot Certificate is required.
You will need a total of 50 hours of Pilot in Command (PIC)
Cross Country flight time prior to Checkride. Some customers need to build this additional experience. We offer discount time-building options to help you meet this FAA requirement.
Many of our students will complete the Instrument Course near the FAA minimum but others need more experience to become safe and competent pilots. Our goal is your safety and success.
