• Must be at least 18 years old by the time of check ride
• Must have the ability to obtain a 3rd Class FAA Medical, 2nd
• Class is required to exercise Commercial Pilot Privileges
• Must be US Citizen or obtain TSA approval if a non-citizen
• Private Pilot Certificate Required with Instrument Rating

Training Total is based on FAA minimum requirements so you can accurately compare schools. The average customer will need more flight training than the FAA minimums. Additional time is billed at an hourly rate.

You will need a total of 250 hours of flight time prior to Checkride. We offer discount time-building options as low as $100 per hour to help you meet this FAA requirement.

Many of our students will complete the Commercial Pilot Course near the FAA minimum but others need more experience to become safe and competent pilots. Our goal is your safety and success
